Yes, I remember her very well. Sadly, I did not see the episode with Freema in but I do remember that Adjoa was quite a long serving character in it, iIrc.

Yeah she had an affair with Simon and got pregnant and then it might have been Josh b ut one of them said to the other the marriage was over and she left.
