I think that Martha Jones should have her own Earthbound programme, called like The Martha Jones adventures!
that would be good, what about you all?

I have suggested she gets the news and weather on ALL chamnnels on another thread, but more seriously I think she is a stong enough actress to carry her own series...and not necessarily sci-fi.

Billie Piper made the move to period drama quite well, and as Freema is a far more talented actress then almost anything should be within her grasp.

And doing the news and weather on all channels would ensure we saw her on our screens EVERY day....

Not that i dont like Martha (I've always been a rose fan) but i don't think that she should get her own show for a few reasons,
1) we'll all be completely lost cos we have DW TW and SJA so we wouldn't know what to do if they brought out another one the crossovers would just become way to confussing and
2)(this is where the Rose part comes out) RTD said that they decided not to do a Rose spin off because of the above reason, and if they do a Martha one they should do a Rose one too

NO more spin offs please. There's enough now!!!
And I'm sorry to say that I don't think Martha is the kind of character that could carry her own show...

Yes she is!! I dont want any more spinoffs either. Maybe if Sarah Jane didnt have her show...

I think it was a stupid idea making the Sarah Jane Adventures cos Sarah Jane Smith doesn't deserve a spin-off and have you seen the show. I like it but the actors are rubbish!! Also the K-9 Adventures, don't get me started! lol

no shes a brilliant actress but if i want to see Martha Jones i want to see her in Doctor Who, with The Doctor, TARDIS oh and the TARDIS key did she keep that?

Even Rose has one still.

OK..OK...So perhaps the news and weather idea were just me wanting to see her on TV as much as possible...

But a little more seriously I think she is a more than good enough actress to carry her own show....sci fi or otherwise....

I agree with dav-ross. I wud defo prefer Martha to be in more Doctor Who than her own show.
