I didn't really like Tom. I don't know why. I just did.

Tom was hot as well! Good choice for Martha!!

I can't wait to see how those first moments are captured and dealt with. Tom wouldn't mean anything to the Doctor, but perhaps Martha will explain his place in the Year That Never Was to him etc and The Doctor will I don't know appreciate him without knowing him you know? The Master could very well have shot Martha that night but perhaps Tom's intervention just made him change his mind.

I think the Doctor will initially feel guilty a bit, but seeing Martha satisfied and happy with her life on Earth, he'll feel better; knowing that she 'got out'. I think his involvement with her job at UNIT (perhaps his 'apology' to her will be brought up) and her time in Torchwood will be mentioned along the way too.

Of course, I could be completely wrong too.

We know from Freema's recent Digital Spy interview that Tom will be spoken about quite a bit in DW and that a picture will be built up about him so some quite involved conversations between Martha and the Doctor would seem to be on the cards.

Tom? Tom? YAY, I KNEW IT! Well, I'm over the moon now whether you like it or not. (not sarcasm)
