Rulers and Dealers will be out on DVD (in England) in October. Has anybody seen the film at all? How big a role and what sort of a part does Freema play in it?

I'm not advertising anything! I'm asking if anybody has seen the film and, if so, if they can say a little about the part Freema plays in it.
It is getting tiresome that every time anybody tries to initiate a discussion about Freema and her work, it is hijacked by puerile comments.

However, Rulers and Dealers is already on this Freema fan site (in the filmography section). There is even a picture of Freema in it in the role of Nana. It is, therefore, a perfectly valid topic of conversation on this forum. Far more valid than the name of the school a member attends, another member's personality metamorphoses and ISP travails or the interminable and trivial Doctor Who quizzes that are sprouting up faster than fungus on dead wood.

I have said before how grateful I am that this very site exists where we can keep up to date with news about Freema and discuss her and her work. Imagine how frustrating it is to have that desire thwarted at every visit by inanity.

ok then. thank u editor. right then. No i haven't seen it, is there anything you can tell me about the part sh plays. How long ago was this?

oops, sorry. It was not her, but looked very similar!

I doubt that Freema's part was that big in Rulers and Dealers as, on the film's own website - part of which is quoted in the article here that the editor linked to above - her character is not even mentioned in the plot synopsis. From what I gather, she was something of a gangster's moll!

I was just curious to see if anyone had actually caught the film when it came out last year.
