Having Martha save him would make sense in a crazy way, she could be like SUPER DOOPER Doctor with like tons of knowledge about different lifeforms by the time she gets back into the Tardis, so she could maybe know something about the Time Lord's anatomy (I wish I did but hey we WON'T GO THERE )

i think this is why rose is brought back. To save the doctor. I dont think he ll regenarate cus isnt david the reason why theres no proper series of doctor who next year?

REGENERATION!Total rubbish because i read in a TV REPORT in the daily mail it had a review of next saturday when S4 starts and it said David Tennant(likely to leave after the run of specials next year but not decided) and carried on!

What if the specials are like memories/flashbacks/past adventures like adapted from a book... But that might be a little bit too timey wimey for the young'uns. I hope...

allons i think you could be right. but i dont think hes going to die either i think there going to badly hurt him and keep us guessing for the xmas special and possibly 1 of the specials so probably have him in bed for a few episode (think xmas invasion)

i think the specials will be how jack, martha and donna(possibly sarah jane aswell)travel back in time to alter events that lead to the doctor getting shot by the daleks,even though this is against timelord rules.david as indicated that hes in the specials but not as you think,like jade says think christmas invasion/blink episodes,hes in them but not for very long.martha as part of torchwood/unit plays a big part in it.

ye some cool ideas here. anyone ruled out the possibility of an ex doctor returning i mean paul mgann has said before he would come back and im sure sylvestor mccoy would so bring back a doctor !!!
