I know that in an episode, the childhood of Captain Jack is touched upon. I found this out on Wikipedia when they reported the kid that played Ben in episode one of Primeval, was cast for the role of a young Captain Jack. How prominent a plot this is has yet to be confirmed but I really hope we get to see the Boeshane Peninsula in the 51st Century. I think Gwen should discover she had a past life on the rift in the form of Gwyneth from THE UNQUIET DEAD. That would be more appealing than sexing up the show

I hope we get to see the Boeshane Peninsula too. They're defo going back to the 51st century,it says on the website. It wud be great if Gwen discoverd her past life as Gwyneth!! 
The website also says that the team encounter a memory theif,so we might get to find out what Captain Jack did in those two yrs that he can't remember!! 
In case you missed it on the news page, if the Daily Star is somehow correct, we now know two different Torchwood S2 storylines (out of 13?) and one of the reasons why Martha Jones is visiting Torchwood...
