Who girl haunted by Billie
By BECI WOOD
(note: they got the “sidekick Adeola” part wrong - it’s Martha
AND they list that she appears in the Christmas Special which is incorrect !)
NEW Doctor Who girl Freema Agyeman says she’s nervous about following in Billie Piper’s footsteps.
Freema, 26, told us: “Filling Billie’s role is a very tough job but I’m giving it a good crack and enjoying every minute of it. Everyone has been so supportive and I felt like I fitted in straightaway.”
The actress, who debuted opposite David Tennant as the Time Lord’s new sidekick Adeola in July, added: “David is absolutely amazing and a complete joy to work with.
“He’s so good looking and extremely talented. The other day we shot a scene and I just had to stop what I was doing and stare at him. He’s amazing.”
Freema, who appears in the show’s Christmas special and the third series, went on: “Fans can come on adventures with me now. So far I’ve been to the Moon and seen aliens, and met Cybermen and Shakespeare – but no Daleks yet!”
