Don’t spend £27/$50 for Freema’s Autograph!

(autographed postcard example)

While it could be taken somehow as a compliment, Freema might instead be concerned to learn that some people are profiteering by selling her autograph for over £27 ($50 US) on eBay. Here’s another one and even more waiting. There are even people selling her agency’s address which is ridiculous! WHY would anyone do that?

Freema’s autograph is easily obtainable for (almost) FREE, simply write her management agency and they will send you an autographed postcard - just include a self-addressed stamped envelope (if you don’t live in the UK, we’ll try to help you with some additional info below).

So why not take a moment to write Freema about how much you are anticipating her premiere next spring? We would imagine she might appreciate it. Save your money instead for her Doctor Who action figure!

(International Reply Coupons)

If you do not live in the UK, it’s a little more complicated but far from difficult to get Freema’s autograph. You’ll either need to buy an International Reply Coupon (IRC) or purchase postage directly from Royal Mail online beforehand for the return envelope. You should be able to get an IRC from the USA, Canada, Australia and over twenty other countries. (IRC’s currently cost $3.50 in Canada and $1.85 in the USA)

If you are sending more than just a letter (ie. something else to be signed) use the pricefinder to get the return postage rate and here are some weight estimates. Also keep in mind that specialized autograph requests like that will typically take alot of extra time to get signed and returned. Some actors/actresses won’t even do it.

Last but not least, we’d suggest to Freema that when possible, sign autographs directly to the person’s name. This not only makes it more personal for them, it neatly avoids the resale problem (of course the difficulty with this solution is the large amount of additional time it demands).

Below: a fan gets Freema’s autograph the best way possible - in person!

And in other news
Former Dr Who girl Billie Piper has admitted she nearly killed herself when she was 16. The ex-wife of DJ Chris Evans says she was in Chicago soon after topping the British charts when she thought about swallowing a bottle of pills. Billie, now 24, says she considered suicide because of pressure on her to succeed and her anorexia slimming obsession. But in stead she phoned her parents and begged to come home. In her new autobiography Billie says: “I didn’t feel qualified or ready to talk about it until I was really, really well this year. “I still hate looking at pictures of myself.”
Poor Billie

Well we’re not going to worry too much about Billie here, she has a huge number of fansites. Also that quote is from her six-figure book deal, so she’s not such a “poor” Billie )

I just thought I should put a post here for no apparent reason other than to read about all the topics revolving around Freema in the last year or so. It seems strange that when this topic was started, Martha hadn’t even met the Doctor. Hello…… anyone else out here……
