To the person saying that no one could replace Billie… Whilst I agree that she may be a tough act to follow, it is important to remember that Billie and Freema are the latest in a long line of companions spanning the 43 year history of the show. Back in the day, I thought no one could replace the Rose of her day, Elisabeth Sladen aka Sarah Jane Smith, but thankfully, I have been proven wrong. So give Freema a chance… She just may surprise you.

Loving Freema! Replacing Billie is going to be tough but it was the same for David replacing Chris and look how brilliantly he turned out!

Don’t get me wrong. I will miss Billie as much as the next fan, but life moves on ! Good luck Freema, (sorry if you’re superstitious, but I don’t like wishing broken legs on anyone!) I look forward to meeting Martha in the near future.
