“pongothedalek” has caught some much better video than the last clips we saw of the filming from Cardiff Bay.
This time you get to see Freema as Martha Jones really close-up (as well as the Doctor and Captain Jack). There are some fantastic moments where she laughs near the end and Russell T. Davies also appears for a bit.

i was there when they were filming this it was cool!
Can’t wait for it 2 come back onto our screens - not long now! i picked up some of the words when they were filming this but not many. I wish I heard more! 
If I had to guess, I’d say the Doctor was adjusting Jack’s watch so he could contact him any time he needed to. So we can look forward to more Torchwood crossovers in the future.
That makes sense. Although it’s never been specified that the watch is a phone as well - the Doctor would probably have to do more than just make one pass with his sonic screwdriver to turn it into one. He could also be using it to heal a cut on Jack’s hand.
Russell Davies has said there would be no DW/TW crossovers. But we do know Jack will be back at some point, don’t we?
I’m still waiting for a “Doctor-lite” episode that explains Jack’s missing 2 years - and having the Doctor be the one to remove Jack’s memory!
Totally unrelated - why is there a British flag icon next to my name when I’m posting from New York? I’m pretty sure I saw an American flag next to one of the other posters.
It must have been reassuring for Freema that she got such a warm and spontaneous reaction at the Children in Need Concert last year. She got a lovely welcoming round of applause when the camera caught her on the big screen - if there was a lot of resistance to her as a ‘Rose replacement’ then I sure she wouldn’t have been so well received.
I was sorry to see Billie go but I’m certain Freema will be a breath of fresh air, to have continued with Rose for a third year may have resulted in us getting a little bit bored with the character…
I certainly wasn`t sorry to see `Billie`(Ms Piper,that is;what`s with all this relentless,childish,first-name over-familiarity with some d-list celebrity we simply don`t know?)depart from the show.
We really should have got Jo Joyner as Lynda Moss from the first episode of the new show;NOT the shallow,selfish,snide,`bunny-boiler` Rose Tyler soon became.All the very best to the delightful Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones.26 days and counting…

Can I say firstly that freema’s hair looks great? I’m sorry I had to say that but I just felt that it hadn’t been covered quite as much as it deserved above. Anon # 12 what were the words you picked up? Oh and the other thing i meant to mention was just to point out that jack’s ‘watch’ does a lot more things than tell the time, eg in torchwood analysing random stuff, makeing the pterodactle attack ianto’s girlfriend (of course the team never said, oh what ya got there jackie me ole mate? because that would be to intelligent, therefor you are forgiven if you didn’t notice, in other words it hasn’t been highlighted.) And yea, like the brig had in the old series for unit it would be cool if jack had a thing to contact the doctor with, for when he returns to torchwood…
i cant wait until it starts especicially that episode, i wondered hoew they would do it becuase he regenerated and theres no rose, any way it looks brilliant!
