Exciting news from a lengthy article in the Telegraph today based on an interview with lead Doctor Who writer and producer Russell T. Davies. Buried among other tidbits they mention series four has been commissioned and the script for the 2007 Xmas special is finished. The question we are left hanging with is Freema still onboard as Martha Jones? We can only hope and assume so! (photos of RTD talking to Freema, David & John)

Doctor Who Series Four Commissioned
- Is Martha Jones Onboard?
i think david and freema r a perfect match!
to be honest, i doubt freema will stay for long, she has enjoyed filming, but from interviews, she doesnt seem amazingly interested in staying
I am glad that there is going to be a sries 4
THAT IS GOOD NEWS I WISH I WILL BE IN A SERIES I HOPE THERE WILL BE SERIES 5
Series 4 hasn’t even started yet.. sheesh!!
I think this is the best freema can do, it would be a bad move if she left early. Maybe she couild get a few roles in films and TV shows and she will be well remembered in years to come but this is the biggest thing she’s ever gonna do. She should and I really hope she does, stay for at least two series.
I think Freema said Martha really wanted to be a doctor and finish her studies, so…
Then, when she will discover that the Doctor has “killed” her cousin, I’m not sure they’ll stay very good friends….
It would be a pity if Freema left early, but greater success may be ahead for her. After all,Doctor Who is NOT the greatest success for Louise Jameson(Tenko),Peter Davison(All Creatures Great And Small),Frazer Hines(Emmerdale Farm),Jon Pertwee(Worzel Gummidge),or even(arguably)Tom Baker(Little Britain).
Martha Jones is not adeolas cousin that is just in the book made of steel confirmed by this site.
Tom Baker wouldn’t have that job in little britain if it wern’t for doctor who decause doctor who made tom baker popular
