I don’t mean to sound bitter towards Martha in any way because I think she’s going to be fabulous, it’s just that I’m one of these people still caught up in the whole Doctor/Rose love story! And seeing him kissing Martha so soon after Rose is a bit annoying. I know it’s just genetic transfer or whatever! But I’ll just be a bit annoyed if there is any romance between the Doctor and Martha. I know it sounds mean but I’d like to see him mourn Rose a bit more before he moves on! Don’t get me wrong though, I think Martha is going to be a really cool character! And Freema is so damn pretty it’s annoying!
Same here… Martha is the new Chloe Sullivan i’m afraid… beautiful, intelligent and snarky but hopelessly in love with the hero… She deserves better!
As for Rose, she won’t be forgotten… She’s the Bad Wolf, remember?
Remember, we don’t know what the “context” is for the kiss yet. We typically assume a kiss is pleasant or desirable in some way. But just a guess it’s not going to work out that way between them.
Even with Rose, she was not “herself” when she kissed the Doctor, Russell T. Davies always has some clever loophole.
The BBC obviously did this on purpose so people would demand to watch the episode to find out WHY. And it works, doesn’t it?

Oh My God. John Simm is in Doctor Who!!! And we’ve finally found out a little about who Saxon is…. He’s still a really enigmatic character though.
don’t worry fabfairy i feel exactly the same way. Rose won’t be forgotton as sunny said there were more bad wolf references in the final episodes of torchwood so who knows whats going to happen, they like to keep us guessing. I don’t like the kissing seems like a cheap way to get viewers by the attention it will cause and the excuse is pretty flimsy.
On another matter- John Simm, he is going to be stunning and a tennant looky likey for that matter
I think she’ll be a good replacement, but I’m sad that Rose is being replaced, I hope she comes back soon!
