Having a Masters degree in History on the subject of Elizabethan England,I’m very interested in how The Shakespeare Code presents ‘Merrie England’ (which it wasn’t for the most part). The photos here look pretty good and the Poms are very good at doing historical dramas. I wonder if the Doctor says to Shakespeare, ‘Well, to be or not to be, that is the question’?
