The SCIFI channel has announced the official launch date for Doctor Who series three in the United States will be Friday, July 6 @ 9pm. (Technically, Freema will not appear until the second episode since they are starting with “The Runaway Bride”)

Back by popular demand, Doctor Who returns to SCI FI Channel. In the show’s third original season, David Tennant reprises his role as the mysterious, time-traveling Doctor.
American audiences will meet the Doctor’s brand-new sidekick, Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman), in the first official episode of the season, “Smith and Jones.” Season three will kick off on SCI FI with the 90-minute Doctor Who Christmas Special: The Runaway Bride, guest-starring award-winning comedy actress Catherine Tate.
Doctor Who is produced by Phil Collinson. Executive Producers are Head of Drama, BBC Wales, Julie Gardner and Lead Writer Russell T Davies.

i live in england and i think the series 3 should be broadcast in america the same time and date it is here in england! shame on the sci fi channel bbc ect!
I’m from Australia - over here it is supposed to start in July, and we have to wait approximately 7 months between series. I wish we got them here earlier!
by the way, I’m really excited because I’m going to be in the UK for Christmas, and I’ll get to watch the christmas special with Kylie!
At least it will be coming to America. And Sorry Mrs. Smith, the Kylie rumor has been dismissed by RTD.
Exterminate, They cant broadcast it the same time in england as america because of the time change. Its like five hours behind or ahead. They have to create a whole new time for it to broadcast!
