There are still some who would rather doubt our report or the BBC quote and instead believe tabloids. So in that case, here is the Daily Star stating today that Freema Agyeman will be in Doctor Who series four, with her agent (JLM) as the source.

So why the difference in tabloid attitudes? Perhaps it’s because The Sun is owned by Rupert Murdoch who also owns competing television stations (Sky, ITV) to BBC1. Richard Desmond owns the Daily Star and has no broadcasting conflict of interest. Previous claims by The Sun last year included that Noel Clarke (Mickey) was going to be the new full-time companion and that Billie Piper would only do three episodes of series two.

I hope that they have kept Freema on as I couldn’t imagine them having her sign only a 1 year contract having gone out there way to Audition her for the role after appearing in Army of Ghosts.

I have to admit that I was disappointed when that rumour of Mickey from last year turned out to be false (I don’t hate Rose; I just love Mickey), but I’m furious about all the other rubbish The Sun dares to print.
I am very relieved with the news that Freema is going to do another series, they’d be daft to let her go.
