Freema Listed For Screen Nation TV Awards

Freema Agyeman has made the shortlist for “Favourite Female TV Star” in the fifth annual Screen Nation Film and TV Awards.

These awards are the UK’s only international celebration of Black achievement in Film and TV and will be held in the west end of London on Monday 15th October at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel.

Trisha Goddard – The Trisha Goddard Show
Gina Yashere – Last Comic Standing
June Sarpong - T4, Strictly Dance Fever/WAGS Boutique,
Jocelyn Jee-Esien – Little Miss Jocelyn
Angellica Bell - BBC
Freema Agyeman – Dr Who

The star studded ceremony will once again be hosted by TV presenter Josie D’Arby and Bond actor Colin Salmon. Joining them on the night, will be some of the finest black British and internationally established Film & TV stars, celebrating the achievements black talent has made to popular culture globally. Thandie Newton (Crash), Terence Howard (Hustle & Flow), Claire-Hope Ashitey (Shooting Dogs) and Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje (Lost) were amongst last year’s winners.

“Thandie Newton (Crash), Terence Howard (Hustle & Flow), Claire-Hope Ashitey (Shooting Dogs) and Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje (Lost) were amongst last year’s winners.”
Noel Clarke was nominated in two categories last year, but only won one (writing achievement for Kidulthood).

Anyway, yay for Freema!

I LOVE LITTLE MISS JOCELYN! (I went to a recording, and afterwards - because I had written to her beforehand - she invited me and my friend Michael to the small after-party in the greenroom and I met her! She’s LOVELY!

Here we go agian!!!!! Freema is shortlisted. Sadly you can be shortlisted for 50 diffront awards, and win none.

This is the case, that its the winning not the taking part -( 2nd means nothing in this game.
