Rumour has it that John Barrowman is set to reveal in upcoming interviews that he will be joining the Doctor Who team for filming after Christmas.
So our question is, will his character, Captain Jack, be around at the same time as Freema’s episodes with Martha Jones? Will the time trio be reunited again for the fans? What evil could cause them to all join up again? With Donna Noble around this time, it might be getting awfully crowded in that console room!
Captain Jack’s appearance in Doctor Who S4 is now confirmed in an interview with John Barrowman, near the bottom here.
And then you’ll be coming back as Captain Jack in the New Year…
I’m not in the Doctor Who Christmas special, but I come back in Series Four, which starts filming after Christmas. Series Two of Torchwood also starts airing on BBC2 in January.

I am so happy that jack will be back. The doctor, Donna, Martha and jack in one episode.
I con’t wait to see captain jack back in doctor Who. and for tprchwood back on tv next year. i think john barrowman is brilliant at playing captain jack. i hope we get to know more about how he turns into the face of boe.
and if captain jack’s back then billie piper and everyone else could be coming back.
