According to an article in today’s Daily Star, Russell T Davies has been in “desperate” talks with Alice Cooper to get him on Doctor Who. To play an alien? Monster? For a late episode in the series? In any case, you decide!

Freema Might Work With… Alice Cooper??!
I also tend to think this is rubbish!!! I doubt Alice is a big fan of the show… We’re talking about this show being in London, or in Europe (which london is in europe) so how on earth would Alice get to watch the show? Also he plays golf most of the time during the morning and noon hours, so how would he be able to watch the show? Also not to mention he has his radio show to do every night even if it’s not live every day.
So I don’t think this is correct.
And just one more thing… “he’s scary enough that we wouldn’t need to turn him into a monster”? That to me, the way it was put, sounded like an insult to me!!!
Well me and a friend got to meet Alice at a gig, and Doctor Who does seem to be something he’s interested in, so it’s not all just the tabloids making it up.
I can believe that Alice would want to be in it, and I believe that he probably has seen quite a bit of Dr Who since it was broadcast in the States. Also as he is currently touring in the UK I can easily see how a meeting may have taken place.
However, at the end of the day it is still a tabloid rumour, and should be treated thus until an announcment is made officially. I for one would love Alice to be in Dr Who, as I’m an Alice fan, and to be honest if Alice plays the “Alice Cooper” that he plays on stage then I could easily see him working as a villain (rather than a monster).
i doubt alice cooper will be goin 2 dr who
but u never know
there are 2 many celebrites these days goin in that show and so its therefore not that special as it was they also spend 2 much time on earth wot happend 2 visitin loads of different planets
Kylie shouldn’t be involved either, she is a plastic pop puppet who mimes to awful synthetic songs that have no integrity. She has been included to maximise publicity (on th cheap) for the Christmas episode. The BBC is always pulling such stunts but Doctor Who is still an incredibly brilliant tv show!
