It has now been confirmed that Freema Agyeman makes her triumphant return to our screens in Torchwood series two as Martha Jones starting with episode six, entitled “Reset” on 20th February.
Her presence will then continue for two more weeks through episode eight on 5th March 2008.
Since UNIT is back in force for Doctor Who series four, it is strongly suspected Martha was recruited by them after she passed her exams (following the mysterious email at the very end of her last blog entry). It’s pure speculation but “Reset” may have to do with a certain year being undone and what might have been.
It’s also changing channels, I believe, from BBC 3 to 2.
That’s my PVR set: fewer than seventy days to go! Let’s hope the script and plot do her justice!
I wasn’t aware that UNIT was back for Doctor Who Series 4! When was that confirmed, I wonder…
Oh well, it’s nice to know Freema will be back fairly soon. I hope hope HOPE they treat her character well, and just don’t toss her around from one show to another to boost ratings.
I would LOVE reset to be about the year that never was, but I’m doubting it. I still vote for Freema getting her own show all about how she survived that year. If Sarah Jane gets her own, Freema more than deserves it.
Meat and Adam seems like a two parter to me.
Oh, how lovely, Helen Raynor wrote another episode. Yes, clearly is going to be the best in the series.

Freema will add class to Torchwood which is really needed on the show!
I think ‘meat’ and ‘adam’ could be a 2 parter, which would be cool, cos that’s sumthing they missed out on last series; it adds a new dimemnsion to it and makes the stories slightly more familiar cos you saw the first part last week. if they do that it could be because of the recut family version, makes the kids feel more ‘at home’ in the story perhaps, or perhaps i am just pretending to know what I am talking about. Anyway i wonder if the last three are going to be a 3 parter, since the writer is the same for all 3, like in doc who the head writer did the last three. and i wonder if there is gonna be another two parter, it doesn’t look like look any other writer has 2 in a row, but perhaps it’s the last 2 that martha is in since they have same director, altho it seems unlikely…

I’m pretty sure RTD said in DW magazine that there would be no two-parters in Torchwood for S2 either.
in the episode “adam”, maybe its to do with that guy in the cage and jumps up when his face goes weird in the trailer??
also, dr who s4 should start in between some episodes at the end right?
