Daily Mail interview teasing a Doctor Who multi-companion story!

As several fans noticed, the Pompeii storyline is likely a mixup by the reporter (Sarah Sands) and is part of a different episode. However the multi-companion quote is directly from Russell T Davies and what is most interesting.

wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow this is great
WOOW!
Martha will never be second best to Rose for me. Russell knows that she was a also a part of the success of Series 3 and I bet Billie didn’t think series 3 would be so popular. David, Freema, John Sims, writers and crew helped make this the best series yet.
pompeii, but thats the third ep. Plus RTD revealed the pompeii ep had stone mosters in it. Plus, it’s written by James Moran, not RTD! Plus Billie and catherine were filming on a presnet day street, wih police cordens and stuff! And finally RTD didn’t say bout the pompeii stuff, it was outside speech brackets. I’m afraid pompeii finale is another bit of daily mail lies!
why is my comment being moderated editor? That was a fair, on topic, non offensive point. So why do i get punihed 4 it???

The Pompeii part does sound like a bit of a mixup by the reporter based on what is known so far about series 4. But we’re focusing on the multi-companion bit which is a direct quote from Russell T Davies.
Isn’t the Pompeii ep 4.2? A multi-companion story does sound realy xiting, I wonder why the Doctor needs them all so much…
“Martha was always going to be second best to Rose“
Out of the horse’s mouth comes the nub of the only real problem with S3.
It could have been so different. Many, if not most fans were prepared not to make comparisons and contrasts between past and present companions and to treat each in their own right as worthy assistants and great characters. What a pity the showrunner himself was unable to extend this courtesy to Freema’s character.
