Is the fact that when we do see her she’s struggling to get past/be seen by the viewer, just ironic or a statement of intent for the new season given the themes of last?

From a Martha fan’s perspective, it was all a bit disappointing, wasn’t it? But, we have to accept that it is a question of priorities and the focus for S4 will not be on Martha at all. Having said that, given the way S3 ended, we can be thankful for small mercies in that Martha will return and I am interested to see what they do with her both in terms of plot and character development.

Series 4 looks like it’s going to be brilliant! It’s good to see Dr. Jones again and Donna is already cracking me up: “You’re not mating with me, sunshine!” Can’t wait!
