Just a reminder that Totally Doctor Who is on a bit early today (Friday) at 4pm on BBC1 and then repeated on CBBC at 6pm. It’s also on Saturday at 10.30am on BBC2 and then 6pm on CBBC.

Unfortunately no Freema feature this week, but you can still catch glimpses of her and then her cartoon-self in “Infinite Quest”. Here’s a short preview in WindowsMedia or RealMedia.

Freema Agyeman was on CBBC Newsround today and Lizo gave a sneak peek at the Infinite Quest cartoon that will air Monday on Totally Doctor Who (where Freema is also a guest!)

The BBC has revealed that Freema’s character, Martha Jones, has been animated for a 13 part adventure called The Infinite Quest that will run weekly with the CBBC’s Totally Doctor Who. Each episode will be 3½ minutes long.

Freema says: “I didn’t think my Doctor Who experience could get any more thrilling but I was absolutely blown away when they approached me about the new animation series! The prospect of becoming a cartoon character was both exciting and also a bit nerve-wracking as it was the first time I have been asked to do voice-over work.
But I needn’t have worried - my first session involved being in a small recording room with David, Anthony Head and Toby Longworth - and all of us falling about with laughter as we tried to match our words to the movements of the cartoon characters! It was such a fun experience and now I can’t wait to see how it all looks!” (more…)
