Exciting Freema News Roundup for the Week

It seems like everything happens at once (especially when we go on holiday)!

The BBC have now all but formally stated that the 5th is most likely the start date for Doctor Who series 4 in the UK, which would make Freema’s first return as Martha Jones in episode 4 on 26th April. They have moved up the “cinema trailer” television debut to this Saturday 22nd March at 7pm and a Friday Night With Jonathan Ross segment 4th April.

Also two BIG SPOILERS where Martha’s boyfriend has been revealed in an email she wrote Jack at Torchwood (previous coverage), and last but perhaps most exciting is whom Freema has been spotted with on set recently during filming for the finale - HUGE SPOILER !!! (more…)

Freema Returns to Doctor Who in USA May 16th

The BBC has yet to announce a start date for Doctor Who Series 4 in the UK (widely speculated to be 12th April) however the American SciFi network has now listed Friday, 18th April for the first episode (likely to be “Voyage of the Damned”).

If they maintain that schedule, it would make Freema Agyeman’s stateside return as Martha Jones in episode four occur on Friday, 16th May.

If the BBC does indeed transmit on 12th April, Freema would appear back on screens in the UK on Saturday, 3rd May.

Their article’s title may be misleading though, as we’re still uncertain (however hopeful) that Martha Jones gets another TARDIS ride. (more…)
